How this list was made: my own creams are marked as mine, with what I liked and didn't. Researched picks are marked as researched. Ingredient advice comes from the American Academy of Dermatology and Cleveland Clinic. Prices were checked on October 28, 2026, and can change.
Welcome to Comfort Mind Body, where self-care doesn’t stop at your chin. Grab a cup of tea, and let’s find the neck cream that fits your skin and your budget.
I have neck rings, a few chest lines and some loose skin. I’ve tried a lot of neck creams and neck firming creams. Some I loved, some broke me out, and a couple ended up on my mom’s shelf. This list is honest about all of them.
You’ll find my own picks first, then a few I’ve researched but haven’t tried. We checked every price on October 28, 2026. And one promise up front: no cream lifts sagging skin. Creams can soften fine lines and make skin look smoother and more hydrated. For bands and loose skin, my neck wrinkle guide covers what actually helps.
Quick Navigation
ToggleQuick Answer: The Best Creams For Neck Wrinkles
- My favorite: ANUA Collagen Retinol Refining Gua Sha Cream, $28.50. Retinol plus a built-in gua sha tip.
- Close second: Medicube PDRN Collagen Gua Sha Neck Wrinkle Cream, $29.90. The best value per ounce of my own creams.
- My splurge: StriVectin TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream Plus, $62. I love it, but it’s pricey.
- For irritated or sensitive skin: La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+. My cold-weather neck cream.
- Cheapest pick: L’Oréal Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Face & Neck, $11.72 (researched).
- Luxury pick: Clarins Extra-Firming Neck & Décolleté, $100 (researched).
Whatever you choose, sunscreen on your neck every morning does more than any cream at night.

Amazon and brand-site prices checked October 28, 2026. Prices change often. Sizes mix fluid ounces and weight ounces, so price per ounce is a rough guide.
Which Neck Firming Cream Fits Your Neck?
- Crepey neck and chest: retinol plus moisture, like ANUA or Hygieia. Or peptides, like StriVectin TL or the Peptight roller.
- Fine lines and neck rings: a retinoid on alternating nights. ANUA, LilyAna, or L’Oréal are easy places to start.
- Sensitive or reactive skin: Cicaplast, Dr. Althea, or EpiLynx. Hold off on retinol until your skin is calm.
- Very dry skin: Cicaplast in cold weather, or a rich cream like Olay Micro-Sculpting.
- Oily or breakout-prone skin: a light layer like Numbuzin or L’Oréal, which is listed as non-comedogenic. RoC broke me out, so patch test first.
- Tight budget: L’Oréal or Medicube.
- Splurge: StriVectin TL or Clarins.
- Loose skin or neck bands: no cream will fix these. See the section on when a cream isn’t enough, or my neck wrinkles guide.
What Makes A Neck Cream Work
Most “neck creams” are face creams with a neck on the label. What matters is what’s inside and how gently you use it. Your neck has fewer oil glands than your face. That’s why it dries out and gets irritated more easily, according to the Cleveland Clinic.
Retinoids: The Strongest Option For Lines
Retinoids are vitamin A ingredients that help skin make collagen. Retinol is the over-the-counter kind. On the neck, start with a lower strength every other night. Increase only if there’s no burning or redness.
Peptides: Gentle And Daily
Peptides show up in StriVectin, Olay, Numbuzin, and Alpyn. They’re gentler than retinol and easy to use every day. There’s less research on them than on retinoids, so think of them as a supporting player.
Hyaluronic Acid And Barrier Ingredients
Hyaluronic acid helps skin hold water, and hydrated skin makes fine lines look softer. Panthenol, ceramides and centella calm and repair. These are the ingredients to reach for when your neck feels tight or raw.
Vitamin C: A Morning Antioxidant
Cleveland Clinic suggests an antioxidant like vitamin C, vitamin E, or ferulic acid in the morning, under your sunscreen. Antioxidants help limit oxidative stress, which plays a part in fine lines.
Exfoliating Acids: Use With Care
Glycolic and lactic acid smooth the surface of the skin. Alpyn’s serum contains lactic acid. Don’t use acids and retinoids on the same night. Acids can also make skin more sensitive to the sun, so wear sunscreen.
Sunscreen: The One You Can't Skip
Wear broad-spectrum sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher, on your face, neck, and chest every day. It protects against the sun damage that causes new lines.
Good To Know
Creams take time. The American Academy of Dermatology says most products take at least six weeks to work, and sometimes three months. A moisturizer can make fine lines look smoother right away.
The Neck Creams I've Tried
These are the creams from my own shelf, in order from favorite to least favorite. I take turns: retinol creams on some nights, tretinoin on others, never both on the same night. In warmer months, I reach for ANUA. Once it gets chilly, around the end of September, my neck gets Cicaplast.
Product photos in this section come from the brand and are used for identification only, except my own photos of Cicaplast, numbuzin and Dr. Althea. Comfort Mind Body doesn't own the brand photos.
ANUA Collagen Retinol Refining Gua Sha Cream
This is my favorite. I like that the cream and the massage tool are one thing, so I actually do the massage. Of my two gua sha creams, this is the one I’d rebuy first.

Anna's pick: my favorite
ANUA Collagen Retinol Refining Gua Sha Cream
Best fit: fine lines and a massage in one step. The listing names collagen and retinol.
Price: $28.50 for 2.7 fl oz (80 ml).
Watch: it contains retinol, so don't use it on the same night as tretinoin or another retinoid, and skip it during pregnancy.
Check price on AmazonMedicube PDRN Collagen Gua Sha Neck Wrinkle Cream
A close second. Of all my creams, this one gives you the most cream for your money. If you’ve read about my Medicube device in the forehead guide, this is a different product: a cream with a gua sha tip.

Anna's pick: close second
Medicube PDRN Collagen Gua Sha Neck Wrinkle Cream
Best fit: an easy daily neck massage cream. The label lists 5% Volufiline.
Price: $29.90 for 3.17 oz (90 g).
Watch: use light, upward strokes. Don't press hard with the tip, especially on irritated skin.
Check price on Amazon
Unedited photos. The second one was taken right after the massage, with cream still on my skin, so the shine is product, not a result. The two photos were taken in different spots in my room.
Anna’s Note
ANUA and Medicube are both pretty new, so I’ve only used them for about the last six months. Both absorb very quickly as I glide the tube around, so some nights I need a little extra moisture. Neither has much scent, neither has stung my skin, and both layer well over numbuzin. What I love most is the gua sha tip. Putting the cream on turns into a little massage, and it helps my skin relax.
StriVectin TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream Plus
I love this one as much as my Cicaplast. But it’s the priciest per ounce on my list, so I chose the cheaper option for everyday use. StriVectin also sells a lighter serum roller, the Peptight. I haven’t tried it, but if you like the brand and want something lighter, it’s the one to look at.

Anna's pick: my splurge
StriVectin TL Advanced Tightening Neck Cream Plus
Best fit: crepey neck and chest skin, if the price works for you. It's built around Alpha-3 Peptide.
Price: $62 for 1 oz.
Watch: it's the most expensive cream per ounce on this list.
Check price on Amazon
Researched alternative to StriVectin TL
StriVectin Peptight Tightening Neck Serum Roller
Best fit: a lighter serum if you like StriVectin but not a rich cream. The listing names NIA-114, a form of niacin (vitamin B3), and peptides, with a cooling metal roller.
Price: $69.70 for 1.7 oz, which works out cheaper per ounce than the TL cream.
Watch: I haven't tried this one. It's on Good Housekeeping's July 2026 list of neck firming creams, which is based on its Beauty Lab testing. The listing promises tightening, but no cream or serum lifts loose skin.
Check price on AmazonLilyAna Naturals Retinol Cream
It’s a good, affordable choice, and it’s made in the USA. The texture is nice. The smell is strong, so if you’re sensitive to scent, try another one.

Anna's pick: budget retinol
LilyAna Naturals Retinol Cream
Best fit: a low-cost retinol cream made in the USA, with hyaluronic acid.
Price: $21.99 for 1.7 oz.
Watch: the scent is strong. Retinol rules apply: not on tretinoin nights, not during pregnancy.
Check price on AmazonLa Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+
This is my neck cream when the air gets cold and dry. It doesn’t treat wrinkles. It calms my skin, especially after retinoid nights.

Anna's pick: cold-season neck cream
La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Balm B5+
Best fit: dry, irritated or retinoid-stressed skin. Panthenol (vitamin B5) soothes, and shea butter seals in moisture.
Price: $32.97 on Amazon.
Watch: it's a repair balm, not a wrinkle treatment. It's thick, so a little goes a long way.
Check price on Amazonnumbuzin No.9 NAD+ Peptide Serum
I use this on my neck at night, under my cream. It’s light and layers well.

Anna's pick: my night layer
numbuzin No.9 NAD+ Peptide Serum
Best fit: a light serum under your cream. The brand lists NAD+ and a blend of 50 peptides.
Price: $20.30 for 1.69 fl oz.
Watch: the brand says it's for face and body. Its firming claims come from the brand, not from an independent study.
Check price on AmazonDr. Althea 345 Relief Cream
I tried this on my neck and liked the texture. I had to pick one calming cream, and I kept Cicaplast. If your skin is sensitive, this is a good option too.

Anna's pick: the calming option
Dr. Althea 345 Relief Cream
Best fit: sensitive skin, or nights you skip actives. The listing names niacinamide, ceramide NP, resveratrol and PDRN (sodium DNA from rice bran).
Price: $27 for 1.69 fl oz.
Watch: it's a soothing moisturizer, not a wrinkle treatment.
Check price on AmazongoPure Tighten & Lift Neck Cream
This came in my Ipsy box. It’s not bad, but it’s way too runny for me.

Anna tried it: not for me
goPure Tighten & Lift Neck Cream
Best fit: light hydration. The label lists 4% cupuaçu butter, 2.5% Matribust, hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid and caffeine.
Price: $31.99 for 1.7 oz.

Check price on AmazonRoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer SPF 30
It feels amazing on the skin. It also broke me out, so I stopped. Your skin may do fine with it.

Anna tried it: broke me out
RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Daily Moisturizer SPF 30
Best fit: people who want retinol and SPF 30 in one morning step.
Price: $21.97 for 1 oz.
Watch: it's sold as a face cream. Breakouts are possible, and you still need to reapply sunscreen during the day.
Check price on AmazonThe Two Olays: My Mom's Creams
My mom’s favorite is the Micro-Sculpting Cream. It’s too heavy for me. The roller is hers too; I haven’t used it.

Mom's favorite
Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream, Fragrance-Free
Best fit: dry or mature skin that likes a rich cream. The listing names peptides, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid.
Price: $21.96 for 1.7 oz.
Watch: it's heavy. On oily or combination skin, it may feel like too much.

Mom uses it
Olay Regenerist Face & Neck Lifting Treatment (Roller)
Best fit: a cooling, fragrance-free roller. The listing names NAD+ and Hexa-Repair.
Price: $31.12 for 1.7 oz.
Watch: I haven't used this one myself. My mom has.
Check price on AmazonResearched Picks
These come from my research, not my shelf. I included Clarins as a luxury option and L’Oréal as a low-cost drugstore option. Google search data also shows US searches for both rising sharply this year. For the others, we checked the ingredients, price, and stock on each brand’s own site.
Product photos in this section come from the brand and are used for identification only. Comfort Mind Body doesn't own them.
Alpyn Beauty Super Sculpt Serum
It’s a gel serum, not a cream. You’d use it under one of the creams above.

Researched pick: peptide serum
Alpyn Beauty Super Sculpt Serum
Best fit: a gel serum under your neck cream, twice a day. The brand lists a tri-peptide firming complex, lactic acid and mountain cherry. Real Simple named it Best Neck Treatment in its Smart Beauty Awards.
Price: $62 for 50 ml (1.7 fl oz).
Watch: lactic acid can make skin more sensitive to the sun, so wear sunscreen.
Shop at Alpyn BeautyEpiLynx Firming Cream For Face & Neck

Researched pick: reactive skin
EpiLynx Firming Cream For Face & Neck
Best fit: reactive, sensitive or dry skin. The brand lists green tea, apple stem cell extract and papaya fruit powder, and says it's vegan and nut-free.
Price: $49 on the brand's site.
Watch: the brand's firming claims aren't backed by a published study.
Shop at EpiLynxIt’s a gentle cream from a brand that calls its skincare allergy-friendly.
Hygieia Smart Neck Cream
It’s the same pick I suggested in my neck wrinkles guide. You can use it on your neck and chest.

Researched pick: crepey neck and chest
Hygieia Smart Neck Cream
Best fit: a neck and chest cream if you don't use a retinoid yet. The brand lists idebenone, retinol, jojoba oil and vitamin E.
Price: $49 for one jar, $84 for two or $112.48 for three (October 2026).
Watch: it contains retinol, so don't layer it with tretinoin or another retinoid, and skip it during pregnancy.
Shop at HygieiaClarins Extra-Firming Neck & Décolleté
It’s the splurge many readers search for by name. It covers the neck and the upper chest.

Researched pick: luxury
Clarins Extra-Firming Neck & Décolleté
Best fit: a neck-and-chest splurge. The listing names a biotech collagen polypeptide, organic pecan and mitracarpus extracts and sunflower unsaponifiables, with no parabens, mineral oil or silicones.
Price: $100 for 2.5 oz (75 ml).
Watch: Clarins reports 16% fewer visible neck wrinkles in its own testing. That's the brand's study, not an independent one.
Check price on AmazonL'Oréal Revitalift Face & Neck Moisturizer
It’s the cheapest cream on this list and a classic drugstore jar.

Researched pick: cheapest
L'Oréal Paris Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle + Firming Face & Neck Moisturizer
Best fit: a budget day cream for face and neck. The listing names Pro-Retinol and centella, and says it's non-comedogenic.
Price: $11.72 for 1.7 oz.
Watch: it's a day cream, so put sunscreen on top.
Check price on AmazonWant A Device Too? An LED Mask For Face And Neck
A cream works on the surface. Some people add red light at home. It’s a bigger expense, and the evidence is still early, so I’d start with sunscreen and one good cream first.
Product photo from the brand, used for identification only. Comfort Mind Body doesn't own it.

Researched pick: device
LumyHealth LED Red Light Therapy Face & Neck Mask
Best fit: people who want to add a device to their routine. The Face & Neck version has 8 light colors.
Price: $279 on the brand's site.
Watch: research on home LED masks is small and early. Follow the device's safety directions, and don't use it on skin that's irritated from retinoids.
Shop at LumyHealthDrugstore Vs Luxury: Is Pricier Better?
Not by itself. Cleveland Clinic and the American Academy of Dermatology both say a high price doesn’t mean a product works better. What matters is the ingredients, and whether you’ll use it every day.
- On a budget: L’Oréal Revitalift ($6.89 per ounce), Medicube ($9.43), or ANUA ($10.56).
- Mid-range: numbuzin, Olay Micro-Sculpting, LilyAna, or Dr. Althea, all between $12 and $16 per ounce.
- Splurge: StriVectin TL ($62 per ounce), Peptight ($41) or Clarins ($40).
My favorite cream costs under $30. My splurge is lovely, but it isn’t six times better.
How To Apply Neck Cream
- Start on clean, dry skin.
- Use a pea-sized amount for your neck, and a bit more if you include your chest.
- Smooth it on with gentle upward strokes, from the base of your neck to your jaw. Don’t tug.
- With a gua sha tip, keep the pressure light.
- At night, use a retinoid every other night at first. Follow with a moisturizer.
- In the morning, finish with sunscreen on your face, neck, and chest.
- Before a new cream, test it on your inner forearm for 4 to 5 days, as the AAD suggests.
My Own Neck Routine
- Morning: my favorite sunscreen goes on my face and neck every day. It’s the Abib Airy Sunstick.
- Night: I use tretinoin every other night, and I skip a night when my skin needs a break. numbuzin goes on first. On ANUA nights, ANUA is my retinol step, so I never use it with tretinoin. If my neck needs more moisture, I add a little Medicube on top. Once it gets chilly, around the end of September, Cicaplast takes over.

Anna's pick: my neck sunscreen
Abib Airy Sunstick SPF 50+
Best fit: quick morning sunscreen for face and neck. The listing says broad spectrum SPF 50+, semi-matte, no white cast, with ectoin, allantoin and sunflower seed oil.
Price: $14.
Watch: a stick is easy to miss spots with. Go over each area a few times, and reapply when you're outside.
Check price on AmazonIf your neck feels raw or tight, pause the retinoids and read my skin barrier guide. For more on picking a sunscreen, see The Sunscreen Match Guide.
When A Cream Isn't Enough
Creams soften fine lines and dryness. They can’t fix bands that stand out when you tense your neck, or skin that has started to sag. For those, a dermatologist can talk to you about options like Botox for neck bands or ultrasound skin tightening. I cover what each one does and what it costs in my neck wrinkles guide.

Final Thoughts
The best cream for neck wrinkles is the one you’ll use every night, next to a sunscreen you’ll wear every morning. For me, that’s ANUA in warmer months and Cicaplast in colder ones, with tretinoin every other night and never on the same night as ANUA. Start with one cream, give it six weeks, and keep your expectations honest. Your neck will thank you for the attention.

With care,

P.S. from Sushi: Eleven creams on Mommy's shelf, and not one for me. I sat on the sink until she noticed. My neck is fluffy, and it's perfect.
Safety Notes
This article is educational and not medical advice. Patch test new products on your inner forearm for 4 to 5 days before using them on your neck. Don't use retinoids, including retinol, during pregnancy or while trying to get pregnant.
Don't use two retinoids on the same night. Stop any product that burns, itches or turns your skin red. See a board-certified dermatologist if irritation doesn't settle, or if a spot on your neck changes.
